Whether it’s a kid’s or adult’s birthday party, a fun night with friends, a corporate event or end of financial year celebration, you can create a memorable experience at Flinch Coffee & Play, a unique play & paint licensed party venue in Thornbury.

We specialise in small to medium-size party for up to 22 people, with a full service kitchen, coffee and cocktail bar to cater to your food and drink needs. No need to BYO food or drinks, our delicious menu is here to impress! Parties of 20-50 people can be accommodated at our partner venue, Old School Pizzas, conveniently located right next door. This seamless expansion of our services ensures that no matter the size of your event, we can provide the perfect setting and fun experience for you and all of your guests!

Our group paint & play parties usually go for 2-2.5hrs. Prices start from $59 per adult, $35 per kid (under 7 years old); and $44 per kid (7th-12th birthdays). A minimum of 15 people* per booking is required (*if your party has less than 12 people, we’d recommend booking a table for Dine & Paint via our regular booking system or send us an email).

You will have the whole space for yourself to unleash your creativity through plaster painting, and have access to additional table top games as well as Mario Kart/Mario Party via our Nintendo Switch setup in the store!

You can choose a (optional) unique theme for the party, plus decorations at no extra costs.

Yes you heard that right. We can accomodate different themes to suit your preference. Isn’t it fun to get to paint your favourite characters on your birthday? Our current themes include:

• Sanrio themed paint party

• Pokemon themed party

• Superheroes themed party

• Stitch themed party

• Unicorn theme party

What exactly is included?

• a plaster statue – choose any small & medium designs (approx. 10cm-25cm tall) including Pokemon, Sanrio, Totoro, Kaws, Brick Bears, Skull Panda, superheroes and other funky animal characters). You can pre-select them from our available designs (we’ll email you a link to our designs!), or pick from our in-store displays.

• paint equipment: paint, brushes, apron, decorative crystal gems, ribbons, glitter, plus a carry bag or box.

• a delicious hot or cold drink from our menu (coffee, tea, matcha, milkshake, frappe, juice, or mocktails etc…). For kids younger than 7 year old, a kid-size drink (milkshake or Noah’s juice) will be included. Alcohol (wine, beer of cocktails) are available for adults at a small additional cost.

• Food is not included in our birthday packages. You can order hot food from us for the duration of the party. Our food options include sandwiches, spring rolls, fried/popcorn chicken, hot chips, party pies and sausage rolls. Fruit platter or cheese/antipasto platter can be arranged from $10 per person. Food options can be discussed at the time of booking. You’re also welcomed to order pizzas/pastas from our partner restaurant Old School Pizzas next door (please note they’re closed on Monday)

• You can bring a birthday cake, or order soufflé pancakes from us. Our Japanese soufflé pancakes are gluten-free, and can be decorated as a ‘birthday cake’.

• For birthday parties, we offer complimentary birthday card design - simply send us the deeds. For a corporate/team-bonding event, we can incorporate your company logo printed onto cookies, at $6 per cookie (minimum order is 15).

• If you need help with building party bags, check out our merchandise range in-store. Party bags cost between $10-$20 depending on the content!

  Bookings for group painting parties can be made between 2pm-9pm daily*, and require at least 2 week’s notice, and $100 deposit.
